Unity Twilight Challenge

I finally finished my card for the Unity Twilight Challenge. I am anxioulsly waiting to start the third book, Eclipse. My daughter lent it out to her friend who started reading it when I was still reading the first one but I have read faster than even I anticipated and am now trying to be patient!!! It's not working too well, ugh! I'm still on team Edward but from what I hear that seems to change in book three.

Unity Hip Hop Hangover, NOT!

Cuter Than Most set
Camo ABC's Set

Well the bad news is I didn't get to Hip Hop as much as I like to. The good news is Dan came home! I hate when he is gone but the reunions are that much sweeter! He even brought me home a rose! I love my guy. Even though he was home I did sneak in a few posts and managed to create a card for the Get Striped Challenge as well as a card I am teaching at my LSS, Combat Creations. We live near a very large Military base so the store specializes in Military products and classes. I'm also sending this particular card to a friend of my husband's that will be away this year for Christmas. Have a great day!

Digital Scrapbooking

I finally broke down and bought Photoshop and after lots of help thanks to some great tutorials I made my first digital scrapbook page! I really want to print it out so I can add some real embellisments and stamp on too! It's kind of time consuming but I'm sure it'll get easier each time I do one. There are still things I need to learn but for my first I don't think its that bad. The pic I used of the two of us was in front of a fire pit, late at night. I love the way it looks.

Hip Hop Madness Friday Hangover!

These are the cards I posted for the Unity challenges on SCS!

Hey all. I'm posting this now because in the morning I'll be too tired. I love Hip Hop Thursdays. Thank goodness Dan is gone right now. He would not understand why I feel the need to stay up past 11:00 to chat with people I only know through the web!
Here is what I ended up buying:
Eco Chic
The new release bundle
So & So Loves
My Vampire
Fluffy the Owl
Worn Vintage Clock
and of course Hey Chick which was only $2 with a $35 order!
I also dontated $1 to the Operation Children fund!
Yeah Unity!
Offically signing out at 12:30 eastern!!!! Yuck!
OK all, it is now 7:00am. I got like 6 hours of sleep and tonight I have a crop at my LSS from 6pm-2am then soccer games Saturday morning! Crazy weekend. I am going to be so pooped by mid-morning but it was so worth Hip-Hopping with all the wonderful Unity boys and girls and devoted customers of Unity too! I'm going to say it again; "UNITY ROCKS"!!!!

Unity Christmas Swap

Here is the card I made for the Christmas swap I signed up for on SCS in the Unity forum. Thanks Niki for hosting!
It looks better IRL! I can't wait to see what everyone else has done!
Also, I love the bird from Giggle Grove, (in case you hadn't figured that out yet) and thought it would be super cute on a christmas card!

My "Baby" is 14 today! I'm getting old!

My oldest daughter MichaelAnn is so grown up! I can't believe that she is 14. It feels like just yesterday that I was anxiously awaiting her birth. Of course her father is not here for another of her birthdays. He missed her birth and more than half of her birthdays because of training and or deployments. She is used to it but still hates it although she seems to get extra presents because of it. I was going to post a picture of her as a baby and one of her now all grown up but I can't find a baby one right now to scan (they are all in a scrapbook!). So here is a recent one of her. She would probably kill me if she knew I was using this pic!

Halloween time!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's my husbands all-time favorite and for the past three years he has been gone for Halloween. This year he will be home the week before so my girls and I started decorating the house yesterday. We had a blast. Here are a few pics of what we did in front of our house.

I had planned on making some cards last night but was too tired and lazy to get anything done! Here's hoping today will be better. If I get any done I will try to post here as soon as possible.

My First Follower and "Hello Love"

Jack

Rhyann and Ella

Thanks Jaime for the kind comments! This whole blog thing takes a lot of time to keep up with but I love it. Who doesn't love to get feedback on all the hard work they have created. That is why I love posting on Splitcoast. Everyone there is so sweet and the ideas are amazing.

On another note, my Mom and Dad came to visit last night and brought along my 5 year old niece Ella and 2 year old nephew Jack. Even though they got in late Ella and Jack were up bright and early (actually before the sun even came up!) and decided to wake up their cousins. I got woken up to the pitter patter of feet. I looked up and there is Jack looking at me. When he realized I was awake, he yells, "Hello Love"! That is his new thing that he picked up from my brother. Too funny! I am going to have to take lots of pics this weekend and scrap a "Hello Love" page about Jack!

Back to School Planner

I know school has started over a month ago now but I love, love, love my planner I made and taught at my LSS and I had a full class and everyone loved it! Teaching classes is so exciting and I love to see my customers faces after they complete a project.

Challenge Exhaustion!

I don't know about the rest of you but after making 7 cards for WCMD has me pooped! I love the challenge though, it really gets my creative juices flowing. Out of the 7 cards there is only one I am not crazy about. It was late and I should have just given up but I hate to quit, especially when I was so close. I guess it's what I get. Any way I am going to post a few of my favorites.

Thanks to all who posted the challenges.

After blog hopping yesterday with the Unity Crew, I decided it was time I created my own blog and keep up with it! I was very inspired and hope to pass some inspiration on to others. I cannot wait for my Unity Stamps to arrive, in the meantime I am going to go be creative. Happy crafting!
