FWF and my sister's b-day!

This FWF post is going to be quick so you can make sure you see all the wonderful creations in the HOP! I have two cards to share but only the first one is using Unity! This set is called Sketchy Little Boy. I added distress crackle paint to the dinosaur's body after I colored him then added brown ink on top. The cake stamp comes from Unity's Soirees & Such set.



My second one is using a small sentiment stamp from The Stamps of Life birthday set but I just had to share! I got my inspiration from the latest issue of Paper Crafts!
I also wanted to post a Happy Birthday to my little sis Sarah! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Monday 4.19.10 H{ippity} HOP!

I filled up my previous food journal and needed a new one. This time I just bought an inexpensive mini notebook and decided to alter it. It was a bright green so I decided to paint it first with acrylic paint. Then I used some older paper from my stash to cover the front. I used two {ippity} sets: Love in Return and the sentiment from Where you Should be.

My Birthday FWF!!!

April is a crazy birthday month in my family! I have had to make more birthday cards this month than the whole year put together! It's crazy! Today also happens to be my birthday! This is going to be quick because two of my amazing friends are kidnapping me for the day! I can't wait to see what they have planned! Then tonight is dinner with my hubs and my girls!

My card was made for Unity's Color Challenge with a twist USCCC02.
***Edited to add that the cake image is from Unity's new set Soirees & Such! The Happy and Birthday are from two older Unity kits (can't remember which right now!)
